Fairy wings designed by pop star Leona Lewis and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will be up for auction on eBay next week.

Walt Disney asked various celebrities to customise a pair of wings to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Presenters Tess Daly and Vernon Kay, designers Nicole Farhi and Orla Kiely, sportsmen James Cracknell, Greg Rusedski and Tim Henman, supermodel Agyness Deyn and The Duchess of York have also decorated a pair of wings by hand.

The items will be up for auction from September 8 to 18.

The EastEnders and Coronation Street casts have also created and signed a pair of wings.

Walt Disney has pledged to raise £10 million to revamp Great Ormond Street. A new café, restaurant and a Disney Interactive Zone will be built with the funds.

Leona Lewis said: “I loved the idea of the Disney Fairy Wing Auction and was really pleased to be able to help and contribute to such a great cause.

“Great Ormond Street Hospital obviously does such an important job and the Disney Fairy Wings are a really fun way to raise money for such an admirable charity.

“I’ll keep my fingers crossed on the 8th September that lots of people bid for my wings on the Disney Fairies eBay page - I’d love to see them raise something for Great Ormond Street Hospital.”

British singing sensation Leona Lewis poses with an elephant stuffed animal in support of The Elephant Project, an organization to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.

The organization was started by David Niederhoffer, now 18, after his grandfather passed away from Alzheimer’s disease. There is a phrase that says “elephants never forget,” and in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, Niederhoffer is striving for those affected by the disease to “never forget.”

Here’s how it works: Well-known celebrities pose with an elephant beanie baby and sign a special Elephant Project card, which are then auctioned off to raise money to fight Alzheimer’s disease. Each auction package comes with an 8×10 picture of the celebrity and the elephant, a signed card from that celebrity, and an elephant beanie baby. Such celebrities as Zac Efron, Adam Sandler, Julie Andrews, and MANY more have participated in the project.

LEONA Lewis took a break from letting her heart bleed all over the shop to knock back some raspberry mojitos with us in the O2 VIP area.

And she admitted she has accepted P Diddy’s offer to collaborate on his next album.

The sliver of sexygood is also keen to cast her pretty peepers over the baggy-trousered rapper’s forthcoming fashion range with David Beckham.

And since she’s eager to focus her sartorial skills on tight boxer shorts, we are more than happy to assist her.
